So I’ve been doing some more work on “GlymyreScape” and have gotten the monetary system worked out. The basic monetary unit is a shilling (which is the value of a single copper piece). One hundred shillings are equal to a marc (which is the value of a single silver piece). This may seem like a minor accomplishment, but (when you consider that all characters have to purchase equipment, food and provisions) the monetary system is an important part of every table top RPG (Role Playing Game). As far as economics go, the cost of merchandise (in GlymyreScape) should be around one tenth of that in real life. It is a fantasy game after all.
Tomorrow, it’s back to work on the knave’s section. Only one more skill to go on that one. Throwing Weapons! Ha! Always fun!
